REGRETS: Obstacle in life

Regrets are the things that hinder our advance towards something. Mostly those regrets are the things that we’ve done in the past that bothers our conscience which makes us think about it all the time. Thinking about the ways on how are we going to make it right.

Even I have regrets in life. One of those is when I lied to my father when I was in elementary. My father got angry to me for not saying the truth now my parents don’t trust me in some aspects. Another regrets of mine is when I couldn’t even say thanks to my cousin. Now that she passed, I can’t help myself to think over and over again about the chances to say thank you that slipped because of my laziness. Another regret of mine is when I played DOTA with my friends thinking that we won’t be late, because we have program in school, we thought wrong. We were accused for cutting classes and our parents were called. That is the first time my parent was called.

You know, regrets also make the person stronger and better and confident to face the future. Regrets are just hindrance in life but it is also part of living. We all just need is to think that our regrets are our own decision and we are the one who chose that. If we all think that way, there will be no more regrets in life.

All of us are SPECIAL in our own way

Every one of us is special in our own ways. Some of us are special because they can draw, some can sing well and some can dance well. Cheer up men, if you think that you’re not special; always think that you’re special.

I know that I’m special I just don’t know my specialty yet. Maybe I’m special because of the way I love and the way I do the things that I do. I think that I am also special because I think that I’m good in singing and a little bit in playing badminton. I also think that I’m special because there is something that only I can do. I am special because of the people who love me. I am special because of the way I make people laugh, and how I communicate and socialize with others. The way I make that someone very important to me is the best part of me being special. The way I say sorry and the way I care about others more than I care for myself also makes me special. But in some cases those special children they are exception but they are also special.

See, all of us are special, we just don’t feel that. Maybe we are also special to someone who doesn’t have the confidence to tell us that we are special. Don’t forget that every single person in the world is special in their own way.

Letter

Dear God,

Lord you created parents to guide us and to care for us. Parents are not made for us not to respect and not to obey. Lord the greatest creation you made is man, and one of them is parents.
I thank you for giving me good and responsible parents.  I also thank you God because even thought that I’m so hard headed. God I’m sorry that whenever my parents get angry and scold at me, I fight back and scold them too. I know that I shouldn’t do it but I can’t help myself, I always feel irritated whenever they get angry at me. God I know that I’ve been a bad child to my parents but God I only have one wish. Please allow me to say sorry for all the things that I have done. My father is always working hard for my future, but all I do is waste his earnings on nonsense things. The same with my mother who is always busy. I know that she is busy but I always tell her that she doesn’t have time for me and always ask them if I’m her son. I know that as a mother, your son told you that kind of ridiculous word. It makes my mother cry, and by the time I saw her cry, I can’t help my tears. I felt guilty for what I’ve said, and what comes into my mind is to kill myself but I always think about it the second time. It always comes into my mind that my parents need me. If I die I know that they will be lonely. The loneliness in their heart will not perish. God I know that my parent don’t deserve a son like me, but you gave me to them and I know that you have a purpose for doing that. God I wish that I will be a successful man someday so that I can take care of my parents when they grew old. God please don’t let any illness go near them. It is really hard for me to see my parents suffering. God I love my parents and I don’t want to lose them. I want to be with them forever. God if You will allow me to be a child again, I would like to correct the mistakes that I’ve done and I’m going to tell myself that I should be good to my parents and I should study hard because it is the only way that I can repay my parents. They always tell me that if I study hard and I become successful it is not for them, it is for me.
God I really love my parents. Please don’t take them away from me, but I know that you need to take the life that you lend us. God once again I thank you for giving me kind, caring, industrious and loving parents. I know that they don’t deserve me as their son but still thank you for introducing them to me. Even though that the time will come that we have to depart. I will not forget them. I might forget their faces but I will definitely not forget the memories carved within me, the lessons they taught me and everything that they’ve done for me. God I really thank you for giving me Luna M. Hinahon and Norlito P. Hinahon.

My 3rd Year Life

This year is the happiest year in my high school life. All the memories that I had this year are surely a treasure.  I met new friends, learned new lessons and earned different achievements. I also had a new goal in life, new teachers, new chairman and new faculty room.

This year my most unforgettable teacher is Mrs. Mildred Climacosa- Atendido.  She is our English teacher and also one of my favorite teachers. I learned so many things in her subject. All the speech activities that we’ve done really helped me to improve my speaking skills. I just don’t use them frequently. Ma’am Mildred is not just a teacher for us but she is also our friend. So during English time we play, but we play while learning. The most unforgettable speech activity for me is the conventional speech choir. The title of the piece is “The Bells” by Edgar Allan Poe. We had a hard time practicing that piece; some of us had some misunderstanding while practicing. Some cried and other got angry because they thought the boys are not paying attention while practicing. During the performance almost all of us had a hard time concentrating because of the audiences. I can’t forget the time when we practiced our jazz chat. We really enjoyed the jazz chant and we never fail to get the second to the highest grade in the whole third year. Those activities helped us to get together as well.

Those memories I think made this year worth remembering. Of all the years I stayed in this school, this is the best school year that I had, all the friends, all the teachers, I love them all. Third Year is the best year for me especially. Third Year English is the best for me.
